FLINT WATER UPDATE – EPA to collect Flint water samples from faucets
Tests have shown high lead levels in some children after Flint switched from Detroit water to the Flint River in 2014 to save money. The water wasn't properly treated for corrosion, and lead began leaching from aging pipes into the drinking water.

Licensed union workers are set to help replace outdated faucets in Flint homes
Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell and Harold Harrington of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 370 announced that members of the union are heading out to Flint homes to replace outdated faucets and help install water filter systems for residents.
